Founding Owner, Director, and Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Murray is a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation. She has transitioned from her position as a rehabilitation neuropsychologist at Halifax Health/Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation in Daytona Beach, Florida into her role as the Founding Owner and Director of her own private practice in Port Orange.
Specializing in neuropsychological assessment of all ages, Dr. Murray assesses individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders including, but not limited to, autism and ADHD as well as dementias including Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Lewy Body disease, frontotemporal lobe dementias, and other neurodegenerative disorders. She also specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of individuals suffering traumatic brain injury, stroke, cancers, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular disease, as well as other medical and neurological conditions impacting behavior and cognition.
As a specialist in rehabilitation neuropsychology, Dr. Murray has expertise in providing psychotherapy to individuals with medical conditions such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, stroke, and other disabling conditions. She further provides counseling and guidance to their family members and caregivers. While she is inclined towards cognitive behavioral therapy, she is well versed in dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. She also has experience working with highly challenging populations including chronically mentally ill offenders and foster cases and DCFS involved children, families, and adults.
Known within her regional area of specialty practice for her work, Dr. Murray utilizes animal assisted neuropsychotherapy with her trained mobility service dog, Frankie, to promote the recovery of altered brain functions as a result of degenerative conditions such as stroke or trauma.
Alongside maintaining a private clinical practice, she provides consultation at nursing homes, independent and assisted living facilities, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation units. Moreover, she is a member of a forensic psychology network, providing neuropsychological assessment and expert witness testimony as part of an expanding medical malpractice work nationwide for children who have suffered compensable birth-related injuries, and is assisting with the expansion of neuropsychology evaluations to the adult population.
Academically, Dr. Murray earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with advanced specialization in neuropsychology and forensic psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Schaumburg Campus. Her training includes a two-year post-doctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology that is commensurate with the Houston Conference Guidelines through Patrick W. Gorman, Psy.D. LLC and a predoctoral internship in neuropsychology/health and rehabilitation through Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Continuously advancing her efforts, she is a member of the American Psychological Association’s Divisions of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, as well as the Illinois and Florida Psychological Associations.

Angela Legner, PsyD., LMHC
Psychotherapist
Dr. Angela Legner, Psy.D., LMHC, is an experienced psychotherapist with advanced
training in brief, evidence-based treatment approaches. She graduated from the
Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, D.C. with a doctorate in
Clinical Psychology. She completed specialty postdoctoral training in Health
Psychology (e.g. chronic pain, diabetes, mood disorders, obesity, sleep, stress, smoking
cessation) and has two years of experience working with individuals with Multiple
Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and Traumatic Brain Injury. She has advanced training and
expertise in treating anxiety disorders including Generalized Anxiety, Obsessive-
Compulsive, Panic, Phobias, as well as Posttraumatic Stress utilizing primarily
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness
with a culturally diverse population of adults. She is client-centered, integrative, and
focused on empowering clients with education on the biological, psychological,
environmental, and social factors contributing to problems, as well as providing practical
skills to assist clients in improving their overall quality of life. She enjoys working with
individuals and couples, particularly Military, Veterans and their families, and strives to
achieve an open, genuine, judgment-free space for all clients to address their needs
and goals.

Frankie Murray
Mobility Service Dog & Honorary Neuropsychologist
Frankie is a highly trained service dog who assists Dr. Murray during neuropsychotherapy/psychotherapy. Animal assisted therapy is a way for Dr. Murray to interact with people of all ages with a wide range of neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions who may have difficulty tolerating more traditional office-based or institutional settings.
